GreyFire Impact
GreyFire is dedicated to creating unique and creative solutions to address some of the largest challenges.
We believe that business is an underutilized resource, that can be leveraged to create tangible social and global change.
GreyFire ImpactGreyFire works on projects at the intersection of women, social impact, technology and Africa, developing initiatives that empower entrepreneurs in the US and emerging markets in Africa. Our projects focus on innovative strategies to bring skills and economic independence to women and youth in developing countries, using "non-legacy systems" such as digital, tech, eco-tourism, finance and renewable energy. Through advisory firm, GreyFire Impact, we advise governments and businesses on how to integrate forward-looking initiatives.

FLOWFLOW is a series of initiatives focused on creating quantum leaps in how we think about women and economics. Despite being the drivers of 80% of consumer spending, and controlling more than $14 trillion in assets, women are disproportionately affected by lack of access to capital. These challenges signal potential sea changes in the nature of innovation and business, and the role that women can play in building the business models and ecosystems of the future.

Women-Centered InnovationWomen represent the largest disruptive force in business — and the business world is unprepared. Currently women are the largest unserved market in business as a result of bias in design — the assumption of male as default and the exclusion of female and inclusive perspectives in nearly every domain.
With the success of companies like The Honest Company and Thinx, we’re seeing the rise of women-centered innovation: products and services designed for women by women, based on the pain points women experience in daily life. GreyFire specializes in helping companies identify, innovate and monetize new opportunities. Finding untapped markets and connecting to women and new communities of consumers. |
Tour of Tech: Lagos
GreyFire was a founding partner in the Tour of Tech: Lagos, a unique activation that brings investors from Silicon Valley to tour growing tech hubs in Africa. The first TOT brought 500 Startups, TechStars, Wing Pact, and social impact partners Andela and She Leads Africa to Lagos. The tour was curated in partnership with TastemakersAfrica. The trip showcased how tech and entrepreneurship are transforming social impact and sustainability in Africa through carefully curated talks with thought leaders in tech and business; meetings with influential leaders at the key accelerators, incubators and co-working spaces and participation at the best-known startup demo days in Africa. |
